Attention (A Poem)

I wish people didn’t look at me,

Oh what an attention seeker they must see,

When in fact I’m really one,

Who only lives when life is gone.

I live in the shadows, day and night,

People only look at me with fear and fright.

I scare myself every now and then.

Oh when, oh when will this end?

I bite my lip, I chew my tongue,

What on Earth did I do wrong?

If there is one thing people see,

They see the attention side of me.

The bit with the blade, the bit with the blood.

The bit with the smiles as burnt as wood.

Have you ever looked at me to see,

The crying child inside of me?

Have you ever tried to believe,

What your eyes would only deceive.

When you paint a picture, a picture of me,

There is only the gore that you see.

The bit with the blade, the bit with the blood,

The bit with the smiles as burnt as wood.

Now take the time, look at me.

The attention seeking side of me…

Is it still there? In your eyes.

Because now in a box, my body lies.

Perfect Day (A Poem)

Without further ado,

There is one thing I’d like to say,

I’d like to present to you…

My usually perfect day.

The perfect hate, from your mouth,

The perfect hide, when in doubt.

The perfect smile, ever so fake,

Perfectly knowing, I can’t get a date.

The perfect tears behind my eyes,

The perfect scars that prove the lies.

The perfect truth, I hate to hear.

Perfectly knowing, my time is near.

Perfectly feeling, the blade, the loss,

Perfectly knowing just who’s the boss,

Perfect in a way only the devil can see,

 Everyone knows...I'm as imperfect as perfect could be

The perfect hatred, for myself,

The perfect tongue that I speak so well.

A thousand smiles could never show,

How perfect my day just goes.

These were only a few, but were my favourite, i had many more Alex Day songs on there because I feel I can connect with his songs because they can be quirky and serious and funny all at once. A bit like me. :)

On a weirder note, I've taken a liking to Black Veil Brides, Slipknot, MCR and Suicide Silence (You get the gist) so yeah. I'm sorry in advance.

So, I'm back.

So whilst i was away, fixing a hole in the time-space continuum, my TARDIS broke, got a bit stuck, ended up living out the whole 1st century, met Jesus, lovely guy, looked suspiciously like Dan Howell. Anyway, in real life, I've been really busy with my books and schedules and school work that I just...forgot. Completely, I didn't even remember having a blog.

So, sorry.

Anywayyyy. I would like to come back with a bang, so I hereby present to you a collab! No, I don't sing, but I may or may not be bringing a good friend of mine into the world of blogging (seeing as she doesn't know what this shit is, so yeah,)

Shipping...what is it?

Shipping in the world of t'internet is simply wishing two people in a romantic relationship. Not neccessarily sexual....
Oh come on who're we kidding?

It seems that the whole internet is now based on shipping...for example. One direction have over 4 million twitter followers and to be honest more of them believe in Larry than they do in Jesus. Not to mention Niam now....

But when did this all become so mainstream like seriously? Cos i'm pretty sure it wasn't around in like the sixties.
